처음 문법을 접하는 분들은 항상 동사의 특징을 익혀두시고 될수 있으면 동사가 쓰이는 문장표현을 익히세여^^
1.완전 자동사( s +v + 부사(구) )
*That will do. 그 것이면 충분하다.
*A crime does not pay.범죄는 이익이 되지 않는다.
*It doesn't matter /account /count. 그 것은 중요하지 않다.
*This medicine will work. 이 악은 효과가 있을 것이다.
*This reads like a child's composition. 이 글을 읽어보면 어린이의 글임을 알 수 있다.
*That can wait. 그것은 나중에 해도 된다.
*It happens that I am free today. 우연히 오늘 시간이 있다.
*our friendship will wear well. 우리의 우정은 오래 변치않을 것이다.
2.불완전 자동사류
*His story sounds true.
*The cloth feels smooth./ *He looks sad.
*This pear tastes delicious./ *The flower smells fragrant.
*He seems/appears satisfied. 그는 만족한 듯이 보인다.
*The solution remains uncertain. 그 해결은 여전히 불확실하다.
*The old man sat surrounded by his children.
*The rumor proved/turned out (to be) false. 그 소문은 거짓임이 판명되었다.
*Her cheeks went red./ *His dreams have come true.
*I will make a good wife. 나는 좋은 아내가 되겠다.
*My money has run short. 내 돈이 거의 떨어졌다.
*He went an enemy and came back a friend. 그는 갈때는 적이었으나 돌아올 때는 친구였다.

3.완전 타동사류
*such a behavior doesn't become a gentleman. 그런 행동은 신사에 어울리지 않는다.
*My father runs a company. 나의 아버지는 회사를 운영하신다.
*When I think of all this waste, words fail me. 이 모든 낭비를 생각하면, 말이 나오지 않는다.
◈자동사로 오인되기 쉬운 완전 타동사 표현
*enter the room/ marry a young lady/ discuss political problems/ attend the class/ resemble one's mother/ mention the matter/ approach me/ address me in English 나에게 영어로 말을 걸다.
◈제공,공급의 with를 포함하는 완전 타동사들
*supply/provide/furnish/accomodate A with B A에게 B를 제공하다
*present(선물하다)/ endow(부여하다)/ fill(채우다)/ load(짐을 싣다)/ burden(부담지우다)/ aquaint(알리다,익숙하게하다) A with B?A에게 B를 ~하다
*The bank will accomodate you with a loan. 그 은행이 당신께 대출을 해줄 것입니다.
◈제거,박탈의 of를 포함하는 완전 타동사들
*deprive(제거하다)/ rob(훔치다)/ clear(치우다)/ cure(치료하다)/ strip(벗기다)/ relieve(덜다)/ absolve(용서하다)/ acquit(용서하다,석방하다) A of B?A에게서 B를 ~하다
*This pill will relieve you of the pain. 이 알약이 너에게서 고통을 덜어줄 것이다.

◈정보,통신의 of를 포함하는 완전 타동사들
*inform(알리다)/ tell(말하다,알리다)/ warn(경고하다)/ convince(확신시키다)/ assure(확신시키다)/ remind(상기시키다) A of B?A에게 B를 ~하다

◈칭찬,비난을 표현하는 for를 포함하는 완전 타동사들

◈요구,기대를 표현하는 완전 타동사들

*You are expecting too much of me. 너는 나에게서 너무 많은 것을 기대하고 있다.
*He asked a favor of me. 그는 나에게 부탁을 했다.

*He confessed to me that he had broken the window. 그는 나에게 자신이 유리창을 깼다고 자백했다.
◈기타 수여동사로 오인하기 쉬운 완전 타동사들
*The university conferred an honorary degree on him. 그 대학은 그에게 명예학위를 수여했다.
*The king bestowed several gifts on the visitors. 그 왕은 방문객들에게 선물들을 하사했다.
*The government imposed a new tax on wine. 그 정부는 술에 새로운 세금을 부과했다.
*I congratulated him on his marriage. 나는 그의 결혼을 축하해 주었다.
4.수여동사
*He promised me to lend the money. 그는 나에게 돈을 빌려 주겠다고 약속했다.
*He denied me an acess to the building. 그는 나에게 그 건물에 들어가는 권리를 주기를 거절했다.
◈3형식 전환에 to를 사용하는 동사류
*give(주다)/ bring(가지고 오다)/ owe(빚지다)/ pay(지불하다)/ tell(말하다)/ teach(가르치다)/ allow(허용하다)/ deny(주지 않다,부인하다)/ promise(약속하다) A B[=B to A]?A에게 B를 ~하다
*I owe John some money.(=I owe some money to John.) 나는 John에게 얼마간의 돈을 빚지고 있다.
◈3형식 전환에 for를 사용하는 동사류
*buy(사주다)/ get(구해주다,사주다)/ make(만들어 주다)/ spare(주다)/ sing(노래불러주다) A B[=B for A]?A에게 B를 ~해주다
*Mother made me a new suit.(=Mother made a new suit for me.)
◈3형식 전환에 of를 사용하는 동사류
*ask(묻다)/ demand(요구하다) A B[=B of A]?A에게 B를 ~해주다
*He demanded me an answer to the question.(=He demanded an answer to the question of me.)
5.불완전 타동사
*I found it difficult to carry out the task. 나는 그 의무를 이행하는 것이 어렵다는 것을 발견했다.
*Father forbade me to go out at night. 아버지는 내가 밤에 나가는 것을 금지했다.
*I had my arm broken. 나는 팔이 부러졌다.
*They let me have my own way. 그들은 내가 멋대로 하도록 했다.
*We left the village a prosperous one. 우리가 그 마을을 떠날 때 그 곳은 번창한 곳이었다.
